Vietnam) organisation presented 432 Odon Vallet scholarships to
students and post-graduates in Ho Chi Minh City on August 24.
The scholarships are worth nearly 2 billion VND and funded by Vietnamese intellectuals living in France .
This is the ninth time that Odon Vallet scholarships had been granted to Vietnamese students who have produced excellent results in the field of natural science.
More than 2,000 students and post-graduates in Vietnam are expected to receive Odon Vallet scholarships this year, totalling over 9 billion VND.
After the presentation ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City , Rencontres du Vietnam professors will set off on a tour of Vietnam to grant 1,615 other scholarships to students along the way. They will depart from Da Lat City in the Central Highlands and finish in the capital city of Hanoi .
