The national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, will increase the frequency of flights on 10 routes between August 30 and September 3 to meet growing travelling demand during the National Day holiday.
The additional flights will be made between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi/HCM City and Dong Hoi/ Da Nang/Nha Trang/Phu Quoc as well as between HCM City and the Central Highlands city of Da Lat.
The volume of passengers is expected to surge by 70-100 percent on the routes connecting Hanoi - Dong Hoi/Phu Quoc, and HCM City - Dong Hoi/Nha Trang.
During the period, up to 285,623 seats will be available, up 22 percent from normal days and 21 percent from last year’s same period.-VNA
