- Leaders of foreign Parties and countries have continued to send congratulations to President To Lam on the occasion of his election as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee.

In his congratulatory letter, Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong expressed his belief that the Vietnam-Singapore relationship will be further enhanced under Lam’s leadership. Read full story

- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, head of the steering committee for reviewing and untangling knots in the legal document system, requested accelerating the review of such documents to clear obstacles and promote development while chairing the second meeting of the committee on August 7.

The Government leader acknowledged and valued the Ministry of Justice - the standing body of the steering committee, as well as other ministries, sectors, localities, and committees and agencies of the National Assembly for their collective efforts in reviewing and resolving shortcomings in the legal document system. - Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone has hailed the collaboration between the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and the Lao ministries and agencies, especially the Lao Ministry of Technology and Communications.

- Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son and his Japanese counterpart Kamikawa Yoko co-chaired the 12th meeting of the Vietnam-Japan Cooperation Committee, and held talks on August 7, as part of the Vietnamese minister's official visit to Japan from August 7-10.

- The Vietnam-Japan Cooperation Committee issued a joint press release on its 12th meeting co-chaired by Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son and his Japanese counterpart Kamikawa Yoko in Tokyo on August 7.
