- An international workshop held in Hanoi on May 30 stressed the crucial roleof female police officers in UN peacekeeping operations as well as theimportance of promoting diversity in conflict settlement and post-conflictpeace building.
The event was organised by the People’s Security Academy and the UN Entity forGender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) with support from theCanadian Government. - The Indian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City will hold a range ofcultural exchange, and trade, investment and tourism promotion programmes in2023, aiming to foster the ties between India and Vietnam, said Indian ConsulGeneral Madan Mohan Sethi at a press briefing in the city on May 30.
The diplomat said that last year, the two sides jointly organised manyactivities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic relationsbetween the two countries.
