- General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) To Lam and his spouse will pay an official visit to Malaysia from November 21-23.

- The ultimate goal of mass mobilisation in today’s context is to serve the people, bring practical benefits to the people and address their legitimate needs and aspirations, said Party General Secretary To Lam.

During a working session with the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilisation Commission in Hanoi on November 18, Lam reiterated the need to place the lawful and rightful interests of the people above all else, truly respecting and upholding their right to be masters of the nation, ensuring that every effort, sacrifice and achievement of the Party is dedicated to the prosperity and happiness of citizens. The Vietnamese government leader called for stronger political determination, greater resources, and more decisive actions to implement poverty alleviation and reduction programmes and projects. - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has issued a warning against Chairman of the Ha Giang provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Son for his violations and shortcomings in the work during the 2021-2026 tenure.

The disciplinary measure, taking effect from November 16, followed a meeting of the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission, which revealed that the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 tenure and the Party Delegation to the provincial People's Committee for the 2021–2026 term had violated the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations, showed the lack of responsibility and loosened leadership and direction, resulting in the serious breaches of Party regulations and State laws by the provincial People's Committee, many organisations and individuals during the implementation of the Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang expressway project, specifically bidding package No.4 undertaken by Thuan An Group JSC. – National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man will lead a high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese Party and State to pay an official visit to Cambodia and attend the 12th General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) and the 11th Plenary Session of International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) from November 21-24.

According to the announcement of the NA's Foreign Affairs Committee, the trip will be made at the invitations of President of the Cambodian People's Party Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian National Assembly Samdech Khuon Sudary and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the ICAPP Chung Eui-yong. - The Vietnamese community in Macau (China) set up a booth to display and sell products at the ongoing 24th Macau Food Festival, and has participated in art performances, with the aim of promoting Vietnamese culture to local residents and international visitors.

The 24th edition, which kicked off on November 15, features more than 140 participating restaurants and eateries that showcase both local and international cuisine. Running until December 1, food lovers can explore a diverse array of options, including 16 stalls offering Chinese cuisine, 33 dedicated to Macanese dishes, 22 specialising in Japanese and Korean fare, 20 focused on Southeast Asian cuisine, and 16 stalls featuring Western dishes.
