Muong Qua market gather locals, tourists
Muong Qua market in Con Cuong district, Nghe An province, which is held once a month, is not only where local Thai ethnic people meet and trade, but also an attractive tourist destination.
Besides buying fresh farm produce, visitors to the market also have a chance to join locals in fun cultural activities.
Since its establishment in January 2019 with only 16 stalls, Muong Qua monthly market has expanded, attracting vendors from not only Mau Son but also other communes, making items for sale more diverse. Now it has become a highlight in local tourism map.
Muong Qua occasional market is a channel for introducing specialties of Con Cuong district to consumers, through which local agriculture production is encouraged./.
