Mutual recognition of “vaccine passport” of special need

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has tasked the Foreign Ministry with joining the Health Ministry and other relevant ministries and authorities in working with authorities of countries of ASEAN, the EU, the US, China, Japan, Republic of Korea and other countries in the world for the mutual recognition of the “vaccine passport”.

Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has tasked the Foreign Ministry withjoining the Health Ministry and other relevant ministries and authorities in workingwith authorities of countries of ASEAN, the EU, the US, China, Japan, Republicof Korea and other countries in the world for the mutual recognition of the “vaccinepassport”.

In a document, theGovernment office conveyed the leader’s guidance on the matter. It said manycountries are applying the “vaccine passport” to open their economies and bringtheir socio-economic activities back to the new normal.

The mutual recognitionof the “vaccine passport” between Vietnam and other countries in the region andthe world is very important and of special need in the current context./.
