Myanmar will host the 7th Summit of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLMV) in Nay Pyi Taw late this month.

The 6th Summit of Ayeyawaddy-Chao-Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy incorporating the four countries and Thailand will take place in the Myanmar capital on June 22-23.

According to Myanmar’s central steering committee on conference organisation, said the CLMV summit will cover cooperation among the four countries in the fields of trade and investment, human resources development, agriculture, energy, transport and tourism.

CLMV summit is held biennially. The two summits have taken place at the same time since 2008 in Vietnam.

The last two summits were held in Vientiane, Laos in March 2013.-VNA
