NA Chairwoman: Vietnam treasures friendship with Cuba

National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan on November 9 stated that Vietnam always treasures the development of special friendship, solidarity and cooperation with Cuba.

Hanoi (VNA) – National Assembly ChairwomanNguyen Thi Kim Ngan on November 9 stated that Vietnam always treasures thedevelopment of special friendship, solidarity and cooperation with Cuba.

During a reception in Hanoi for President of the Council ofState and Council of Ministers of Cuba Miguel Mario Diaz Canel Bermudez, thetop legislator congratulated Cuba on the success of the election of its ninthNational Assembly, believing that the new leadership will continue effectivelyimplementing the policy worked out by the Communist Party of Cuba (seventhtenure) in July 2016, including successfully building the new Constitution.

She affirmed that the Vietnamese legislature and people alwayssupport the revolutionary cause of fraternal Cuban people.

Bermudez, for his part, stated that Cuba highly valuestraditional bilateral friendship which was founded by Presidents Fidel and HoChi Minh, and generations of leaders and peoples of the two countries.

He wished that the two legislatures would share experienceand work closely together at international parliamentary forums.-VNA

Vietnam, China step up theoretical exchanges, share Party-building experience

During his working visit to China, Nguyen Xuan Thang, member of the 13th Party Central Committee's Political Bureau and Chairman of the Central Theory Council, had a meeting with Li Shulei, Politburo member, Secretary of the CPC Central Committee’s Secretariat, and Head of the CPC Central Committee’s Publicity Department, during which the two sides held in-depth discussions on theoretical research, practical reviews and Party building, and agreed to further strengthen cooperation and experience sharing between the two Parties.

National Assembly President begins official visit to Mongolia
