NA spends 24th working day on discussing draft laws

The National Assembly spent the morning of November 21, the 24th working day of its 8th session, discussing the draft law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents.

Hanoi (VNA) – The National Assembly spent the morning of November 21, the 24th working day of its 8th session, discussing the draft law amendingand supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Promulgation of LegalDocuments.

At the end of thediscussion, Justice Minister Le Thanh Long gave explanations on issues raisedby NA deputies.

NA Vice ChairmanUong Chu Luu acknowledged that there remain differences on many issues in thedraft law. The NA Standing Committee will study the opinions for furtherrefining the draft.

In the afternoon,the NA voted on the Law on Library. The law was approved with a rate of 91.51percent.  

The voting was followedby discussion on the draft revised Youth Law

NA Vice ChairwomanTong Thi Phong said the NA Standing Committee will review the draft based on NAdeputies’ opinions. The draft law will be submitted to the NA’s 9th session./.
