(Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Phung QuocHien has hailed efforts made by the General Department of Customs in applyinge-customs to facilitate import-export activities.
In a meeting with the customs department in Hanoi on February 21, Hien laudedthe sector’s contributions to the country’s import-export revenue of 400billion USD in mid-December last year.
He also praised the sector’s efforts in preventing smuggling, counterfeit goodsand trade fraud.
On the occasion, the NA official wished that the customs officers will work tofulfill missions assigned by the National Assembly and the Government this year.-VNA
