National Assembly election significant for Vietnam’s new development stage: Chinese scholar

On March 15, 2026, more than 76 million Vietnamese voters cast their ballots to elect deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term. Professor Qu Qiang, a lecturer at Minzu University of China said Vietnam’s National Assembly had made important contributions to the country’s development during its recent term, particularly in legislation.
