Attempts to preserve Dao Tien ethnic community’s cultural

Phong Quang commune in Thai Nguyen province is home to several ethnic groups, mainly the Tay and the Dao Tien, each with distinctive cultural traditions. Among them, the spiritual practices of the Dao Tien stand out, particularly important rituals such as the cap sac ceremony marking a man’s coming of age and the post-marriage ritual known as ‘cat khau duong am’ for Dao Tien couples.
