National Assembly of Vietnam: A symbol of national solidarity

On January 6, 1946, Vietnam held its first nationwide general election, a landmark event in the establishment of democratic institutions and a testament to the Vietnamese people's mastery. For the past 79 years, the National Assembly of Vietnam has stood as a symbol of national unity, steadfastly serving as the highest representative body of the people and the supreme authority of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
