Hanoi (VNA) – The 14th National Assembly (NA) will hold question and answer (Q&A) sessions from November 16-18 as part of its ongoing fourth session.

Based on NA deputies’ opinions, issues related to finance, information and communications, banking, and court affairs received the most attention.

Therefore, Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung, Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Le Minh Hung, and Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court Nguyen Hoa Binh will take the floor to answer lawmakers’ queries.

During the Q&A sessions, deputy prime ministers, ministers, and heads of sectors involved will be possibly invited to clear up questioned issues.

The Q&A sessions will be broadcast live.

This week, deputies are expected to adopt a resolution on state budget estimates for 2018, a Resolution on central budget allocation in 2018, a draft Law on Forest Protection and Development.

They will also discuss several draft laws and resolutions, exchanging views on a feasibility study report on a project on land reclamation, compensation and resettlement for Long Thanh international airport in southern Dong Nai province.-VNA
