Two Vietnamese women and their kids in Cambodia (Illustrative image: tuoitre.vn) Hanoi (VNA) – A delegation of the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia and the Khmer-Vietnam Association (KVA) on March 15-16 visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese in difficult circumstances in Pursat and Battambang provinces.
They had working sessions with executive boards of the KVA’s chapters in the localities to discuss consolidation of the chapters, coordination between the association and its chapters, and major tasks of the branches.
They also talked about Khmer language teaching for the Vietnamese community and coordination in settling their concern.
On this occasion, the delegation in conjunction with the Vietnamese Consulate General in Battambang handed over 200 sets of gifts to needy Vietnamese in the two localities. -VNA
