Hanoi (VNA) –The Government and enterprises of the Netherlands always wish to expandcooperation with Vietnam, Dutch King Willem-Alexander told newly-appointedVietnamese Ambassador to the country Ngo Thi Hoa. 

During a meeting with the Vietnamese diplomat,who presented her credentials to him on January 25, the King expressed his pleasurewith the fruitful relations between the two countries as well as Vietnam’sstrong development in recent years. 

He also recalled his visit to Vietnam in 2011when he was the Crown Prince. 

Ambassador Ngo Thi Hoa said in her tenure, shewill do her utmost to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation betweenVietnam and the Netherlands. 

She expressed her hope that the King willcontinue promoting the relations between the two countries, affirming that theNetherlands is one of Vietnam’s important economic partners in Europe. 

Vietnam appreciates the country’s strength andexperience in the fields of strategic partnership cooperation, she stated.

She believed that when the EU-Vietnam Free TradeAgreement takes effect, it will open up many new cooperation opportunities forthe two countries’ business communities.-VNA

452 lawmakers, or 94.56% of the total number of deputies present, voted in favour the revised Law on Corporate Income Tax, while the amended Excise Tax Law was adopted with 448 out of 454 deputies present voting in favour, accounting for 93.72% of the total.
