Spanish Bruno Formoso will take charge of the team for three years and is expected to lead Vietnam to success at the Asian Futsal Championship, to be held in Ho Chi Minh City between April 30 and May 11.
Vietnamese officials hope that under Formoso, Vietnam will be one of top eight teams. Formoso has won the Ramon Cobo, an honour awarded to the best coach by the Royal Spanish Football Federation's Coaches Committee in the 2011-12 season.
The team will have a 10-day training session in Spain in April to warm up for the tournament. The championship's draw will be organised on February 22 in Ho Chi Minh City.-VNA
