No new case of COVID-19 in past 12 hours

No new case of COVID-19 was reported in the country in the past 12 hours, leaving the number of infection at 288 as of 6pm on May 12, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

Hanoi (VNA) – No new case of COVID-19 was reported in the country in the past 12 hours, leaving the number of infection at 288 as of 6pm on May 12, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

Vietnam has so far recorded no community infection for 26 straight days.

On May 12, three relapsed patients were given the all clear. A total of 252 COVID-19 patients in the country have been cured, and there has been no death.

Among the remaining 36 patients who are receiving treatment, 16 have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 at least once.  

The number of people under quarantine is 11,929./.
