No VN representative at reception celebrating US embassy in Jerusalem

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has affirmed that Vietnam did not send any representative to a reception hosted by the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Israel on May 13 on the occasion of the opening of the US Embassy in Jerusalem.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has affirmed thatVietnam did not send any representative to a reception hosted by the PrimeMinister and Foreign Minister of Israel on May 13 on the occasion of theopening of the US Embassy in Jerusalem.

The MOFA’s Department of Press and Information made the affirmation on May 14 whileresponding to reporters’ query on whether Vietnam sent its representatives tothe event.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs asserts that Vietnam had no representative atthe reception as mentioned by some news outlets,” said the department.-VNA
