Northwest ethnic groups to hold cultural festival

The 7 th Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival of Ethnic Groups in the Northwestern Region will be held in the northern midland province of Phu Tho from April 14-17 with the participation of 10 provinces in the region.
The 7 th Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival of Ethnic Groups in theNorthwestern Region will be held in the northern midland province of Phu Thofrom April 14-17 with the participation of 10 provinces in theregion.

This year’s festival is aimed at boosting solidarity among ethnicpeople in the region and promoting tourist destinations in Phu Tho.

Majorevents of the festivals will take place at the Hung Kings’ Temple with incenseoffering ceremonies and a parade.

Competitions of sports and folk gamesof ethnic people in the region, as well as exhibitions of the region’s cultureand paintings will also be held./.
