The official website of the 12th National Party Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, slated for early 2016, made its debut on September 14.

The official website of the 12th National Party Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, slated for early 2016, made its debut on September 14.

The website, found at daihoi12.dangcongsan.vn, features 11 columns written in Vietnamese, English, French and Chinese.

It also posts opinions of socio-political organisations, former officials, scientists, people from all strata and expatriates on draft documents to be submitted to the 12th National Party Congress.

The website aims to encourage the entire Party, people and army to successfully implement resolutions of the all-level Party congresses and the 11th National Party Congress for the 2010-2015.

Meanwhile, it is also intended to improve Party members and the community’s awareness of the significance of the 12th national congress as well as viewpoints, guidelines and orientations stated in resolutions of the all-level Party congresses for 2015-2020, ultimately contributing to the success of the congresses and the realisation of their resolutions.

At the opening ceremony, Politburo member and Standing member of the Party Secretariat Le Hong Anh said communication efforts by press outlets will help solidify the entire nation’s confidence in the Party leadership and improve other countries’ understanding of Vietnam’s 12th national congress and the Party’s viewpoints on national development and protection.-VNA
