Hanoi (VNA) – Nearly 1,203 tonnes of rice from the national reserve will be allocated to the central province of Nghe An to support residents affected by natural disasters and African swine fever in 2019, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has recently signed Decision No. 75/QD-TTg on the allocation, under which the Ministry of Finance was assigned to take over the task.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs will ensure the accuracy of relevant reports, and the provincial People’s Committee was asked to promptly deliver the amount of rice to right people./.
