Party chief meets ruling United Russia Party leader

The Party chiefhailed the visit on the heels of the 65 th anniversary of diplomaticties, assuring Medvedev that Vietnam values the traditional friendshipand comprehensive strategic partnership with Russia.

Lauding the positive cooperation between the Communist Party ofVietnam and the ruling United Russia Party, the host said the signing ofthe 2015-2017 cooperation agreement between the two Parties will lay asolid groundwork for their partnership.

Medvedevagreed to facilitate information and experience sharing in Party workand social and State management through high-level visits whileexpanding ties between localities.

Russia considersVietnam a leading partner in Southeast Asia and remains determined tofoster the comprehensive strategic partnership with Vietnam andcooperation between the two Parties, Medvedev said.

He expressed his wish that the Party, State and people of Vietnam willachieve additional socio-economic successes and raise Vietnam’s positionin the international arena.

The signing of the2015-2017 agreement deepening the comprehensive partnership between thetwo Parties was signed by Head of the Party Central Committee’sCommission for External Relations Hoang Binh Quan and member of thePresidium of the United Russia Party’s General Council and DeputyChairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the Council ofRussian Federation Andrey Klimov, as witnessed by the two Partyleaders.-VNA
