At noon on September 8, heavy rain in the center of Hanoi city caused some troubles to the work of multiple disease checkpoints, including a checkpoint at the foot of Chuong Duong bridge (Hoan Kiem district). Strong wind causes more difficulties to the forces here.

At about 11:30 a.m., a pickup truck appeared at the checkpoint, carrying many meals in foam boxex. The driver told soldiers and officers at the checkpoint that he wanted to "support" them.

Police officers and soldiers quickly used big umbrellas to cover for the driver and other people when they carried the meals from the truck to the checkpoint.

This "relay" scene took place in a flash but full of warmth, partly invigorating the police and soldiers in the new period of isolation of the city.

From 6 a.m. on September 8, COVID-19 disease checkpoints of Hanoi began to strictly control people and vehicles circulating in and out of zone 1./.
