Hanoi (VNA) — People across the country will enjoy warm weather during the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, falling between January 26 and February 1.
In the northern region, warm and dry weather is predicted to hit, with temperatures at 13-24 degrees Celsius between January 26 and 31, the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting revealed on January 23 morning. A cold spell may occur in the region after Jan 31.
In the north-central region, the weather is also expected to be warm and sunny, with the lowest temperature at 17 degrees Celsius from January 26 to 31.
However, in the south-central region, showers are forecast in localities from Thua Thien Hue to Khanh Hoa between January 24 and 26, with temperatures between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius. Light rainfall will hit several areas in the localities, with the lowest temperature forecast at 19 degrees Celsius between January 26 and February 1.
