The Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) officially increased retail prices of petroleum products and diesel by 400 VND (0.019 USD) per litre and kerosene by 300 VND late July 20.

The move by Petrolimex followed a report from the Ministry of Finance showing that costs were higher than retail prices.

The price of RON 95 petrol has been raised to 21,500 VND per litre; RON 92 to 21,000 VND per litre; diesel to 20,300 VND per litre, and kerosene to 20,150 VND per litre.

This is the first time the price has gone up this year following five consecutive cuts.-VNA
