Hanoi (VNA) - The Politburo has entrusted Pham Tat Thang, member of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and permanent vice-chairman of the PCC's Commission for Mass Mobilisation, to direct activities of the commission.

Previously, at the meeting on July 16, the Politburo decided to appoint Bui Thi Minh Hoai, a Politburo member, secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of the PCC's Commission for Mass Mobilisation, as Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee for 2020-2025 term.

At the same time, the Politburo assigned Thang with the task of directing the Party Central Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilisation until the head of this body is appointed in accordance with regulations./.
