Phnom Penh to host Vietnam-Cambodia trade fair

The Vietnam-Cambodia Trade, Services and Tourism Fair will take place in the Kohl Pitch International Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh in Cambodia from July 15-19.
The Vietnam-Cambodia Trade, Services and Tourism Fair will take place inthe Kohl Pitch International Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh inCambodia from July 15-19.

The event has beenjointly organised by the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and TradePromotions Centre (ITPC) and the Ministry of Culture, Sports andTourism.

According to ITPC’s Director Tu Minh Thien,who is also head of the organising board, the 300-stand exhibitionwill showcase the economic achievements that Vietnam and HCM City inparticular have made in a wide range of areas, including processedproducts, agricultural materials, interior decor, garments, footwear,tourism, hospitality, banking, security and insurance.

It will bring together distributors and producers from both countries,giving them the opportunity to exchange business information, he said.

A number of trade and tourism promotions, culturalexchanges and seminars will also take place within the framework of theevent.

Over the past few years, bilateral tradebetween Vietnam and Cambodia has developed well, recording nearly500 million USD in the first three months of this year, a year-on-yearincrease of 130 percent./.
