The event is within the framework of the Vietnam-China border trade fair jointly held by Lao Cai province of Vietnam and Yunnan province from Nov. 26 to 30 and is part of activities to mark the 60th anniversary of Vietnam-China diplomatic ties.
Many of the total 300 photos being displayed at the exhibition were made public for the first time, capturing the developments of the traditional friendship between the two countries.
The photos also describe achievements in economics, politics, culture and society of border provinces of Yunnan and Lao Cai in recent years.
Visitors to the exhibition were given a comprehensive overview of diplomatic ties between the two countries, especially the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Lao Cai and Yunnan.
It also aims to strengthen mutual understanding between the two provinces and friendly ties between the two countries./.
