There will be 47 domestic players and five foreign players, including the best players from the Republic of Korea and Japan, like Cho Jea-ho, Heo Jung-han, Arai Tasuo and Takeshima O.
Players will compete in a knock-out form through the tournament.
Winners will walk away with total prizes of 100 million VND (4,800 USD).
"This is a chance for domestic players to hone their skills for the National Sports Games to be held in December and the 28th SEA Games in Singapore next June," said Huynh Van Hiep, tournament's chief referee.-VNA
