Hanoi (VNA) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has approved a project tobuild a coastal road in the Red River Delta province of Thai Binh.
The project, scheduledto start in 2018 and complete in 2021, will connect northern coastal provinceswith the aim of increasing the use of marine resources as well as preparing forclimate change impacts and rescue at sea.
The project to build the35.5km road has a total investment capital of over 3,872 billion VND (170.5million USD), of which capital from the State budget is 1,100 billion (48.5million USD).
Capital mobilised fromthe local budget and other sources is 1,593 billion VND (70.1 million USD),while capital from investors under the build-operate-transfer (BOT) model is 1,289billion VND (56.8 million USD)
The estimated durationfor toll collection is expected to last from 2022 to 2045. However, the official time for tollcollection will be defined through the bidding to select the investor.-VNA
