Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung paid Tet visits to former State President Vo Chi Cong and PM Phan Van Khai on Feb. 12.

PM Dung informed them of the implementation of the Party’s Resolution on the country’s socio-economic development and future tasks as well as the Government’s efforts to improve people’s lives, especially those of the poor and policy beneficiaries on the occasion of the Lunar New Year Festival.

The PM pledged to join the Government to do their utmost to serve economic development and ensure social welfare.

He wished the former State and Government leaders both good health and longevity to continue contributing their opinions to the Party Central Committee and the Government.

Also on the occasion of Tet, PM Dung visited a number of revolutionaries’ families and burned incense sticks as well as paid Tet visits to the families of former General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh and Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet./.
