Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung left Hanoi on December 14 for a visit that aims at strengthening relations between the two countries at the invitation of his counterpart Vladimir Putin.

Dung, accompanied by a high-ranking Government delegation, will be in Russia for two days to promote a multifaceted relationship with the country.

Dung will then go to Copenhagen, Denmark, to attend the ongoing World Climate Change Conference and confirm Vietnam ’s determination to contribute its part to the world’s fight against climate change.

During his three days at the conference, Dung will attend high-ranking discussion and workshops about the United Nations Framework on Climate Change and with signatories of the Kyoto Protocol.
