Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has affirmed that the Vietnamese government will provide all possible support for foreign firms, including those from the Republic of Korea (RoK), to do business in Vietnam, contributing to lifting two-way trade to 70 billion USD in the next five years.
During a reception in Hanoi on August 16 for the RoK’s former Minister of Policy Coordination Yoon Dae-hee, who is in Vietnam in his role as senior advisor to LG Corporation, PM Phuc said Vietnam highly values strengthening bilateral cooperation and consulting experience from the RoK.
Vietnam appreciates the RoK’s knowledge sharing programme, which has plenty of practical lessons for the country, he said, adding that relevant Vietnamese agencies will learn from the RoK’s experience to improve policymaking.
The host wished that both sides will continue discussions on conducting the programme together.-VNA
