A number of projects were inaugurated at two huge martyr cemeteries in the former fiercest battlefield province of Quang Tri on July 13, to mark the War Invalids and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27).
July is called the Month of Tribute in the war-torn central province of Quang Tri as tens of thousands of people nationwide visit and offer incense to fallen soldiers who are resting in peace at local cemeteries.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has told central Quang Tri province to build mechanisms encouraging investment in agriculture and rural area as it boasts advantageous potential in land.
The legendary Truong Son Trail (better known as the Ho Chi Minh Trail), which has celebrated its 55th anniversary, has become a symbol of the Vietnamese army and people’s victories over foreign aggressors.
