Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung is leading a Vietnamese delegation on their visit to two western Chinese provinces to promote cooperation between the two sides.

Dung is on a three-day visit to Sichuan and Chongqing City to attend the 10 th Western China International Trade Fair.
The visit, starting on Oct. 15, is expected to boost cooperation in economics, commerce, investment, tourism, science and technology between Vietnam and China ’s western region. It is also to help deepen the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang, Vietnamese Ambassador to China Nguyen Van Tho, and other high-ranking officials from relevant ministries and sectors.

The visit is in response to an invitation from the Chinese Government and leaders of the two hosting localities./.
