Police tackle six drug trafficking cases in a day
Police of Muong Nhe district, northern mountainous province of Dien Bien broke six drug trafficking cases from Laos to Vietnam with seven suspects arrested on September 11.

According to Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Truong, chief of the district police, police secretly carried out surveillance at locations along Vietnam-Laos border in Muong Nhe district.
At about 4:00 am, they caught seven suspects, three men and four women, transporting approximately 5 kilogrammes of drugs in total from Laos to Vietnam.
The police are working with relevant authorities for further investigation.-VNA
