Li Jing Tian, Permanent Vice President of China ’s Central Party School , made the statement while meeting with To Huy Rua, Politburo member, Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and Head of the CPV CC’s Commission for Organisation, in Hanoi on Mar. 22.

China will do its utmost, together with Vietnam , to constantly consolidate and develop the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, for the interest of both countries and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world, Li said.

For his part, Rua stressed that the visit is a vivid symbol of the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.

He also congratulated the success of the 5 th session of the 11th Chinese National People's Congress and expressed his belief that under the CPC’s leadership, Chinese people will obtain greater achievements in renovation and socialist construction with their own characteristics.

He said the two sides should continue grasping fully the common consensus reached by their Party leaders, enhance exchanges of delegations and cooperation at all levels and share experience in Party building and state management, thus contributing to deepening the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.

On the same day, the Chinese officials held talks with Ta Ngoc Tan, member of the Party Central Committee and Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration.

During its stay in Vietnam, the Chinese guests visited cultural and economic sites in Hanoi, the central city of Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.-VNA
