Hanoi (VNA) – Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) and Chairman of the Central Theory Council Nguyen Xuan Thang expressed his hope for enhanced cooperation with Hungarian and Armenian partners while hosting separate receptions for the new Ambassadors of the two countries to Vietnam on June 11.

Meeting with Ambassador of Hungary Baloghdi Tibor, Thang said he believes that the diplomat will have a successful tenure in Vietnam and serve as a bridge to consolidate and develop comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary, including that between the HCMA and competent organisations and agencies of the European country.

Recalling the official visit to Hungary by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in 2018 and the recent trip to the country by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Thang affirmed that regular delegation exchanges at all levels is a vivid illustration of the close cooperation as well as the resolve by leaders of both sides to unceasingly nurture and bolster the bilateral relations.

He went on to say he hopes that Ambassador Baloghdi Tibor will contribute to developing the ties in a deeper and more practical manner, and expanding the cooperation between the HCMA and its Hungarian partners in the fields of training and scientific research.

Baloghdi Tibor, for his part, affirmed that he will make efforts to promote the comprehensive partnership between the two countries, and between the HCMA and Hungarian partners in particular, making it on par with the cooperation potential and in line with the interests of the two peoples.
