Poor children to be given free milk

The National Fund for Vietnamese Children launched a programme on April 26 called the Vietnam Never Stops Growing Milk Fund to provide free rations of milk daily to poor children.

The fund hopes to raise 30 billion VND (2.1 million USD) this year and benefit around 90,000 children.

The Vietnam Dairy Product Corporation, or Vinamilk, will donate 10 billion VND worth of products./.
