Da Nang to host Fun Beach Festival

Da Nang (VNA) - About 10,000 fans will participate in the Fun Beach Festival, a music festival, at East Sea Park in the central city of Da Nang from August 12 to 14. 

The festival will also comprise backpack tourism, camping, beach sports, and team-building, besides entertainment activities. 

Organisers said the third edition of the festival, the previous ones having been held in Binh Thuan and Vung Tau, will bring three days of fun and amazing music performances by top Vietnamese DJs Giang Nguyen, who is known for traditional music remixes, Ice and Zin, besides foreign DJs and artists. 

The participants will spend a night in their own tents at an assigned camping area on the beach, or organisers will provide tents on twin-sharing, group or shared basis to visitors. 

Visitors can participate in a series of sports activities such as beach volleyball, surfing, boat paddling and yoga practice at dawn, besides camp bonfires, film screenings, food court and shopping. 

Musical nights will be held on four stages on the beach, with exciting DJ performances. 

The Fun Beach Festival will also include community activities such as beach clean-up, city tours and visits to underprivileged people.
