and Training (MET).
A majority of the sum (9.2 trillion VND) will be spent in building 11,600 classrooms and 1.57 million sq. m. of functional rooms.
The rest is used to buy teaching aid and toys, cover teachers training and provide financial support for poor children.
The money is also to fund the construction of kindergartens of national standards for disadvantaged districts.
MET leaders said over 80 percent of the total cost will come from the State budget while the remainder is to depend on tuition fees, aid and contributions from the community./.
