President Putin's Vietnam visit to deepen bilateral ties

At the invitation of Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Russian President Vladimir Putin makes a state visit to Vietnam from June 19-20. The state visit takes place at a time when the two nations are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Treaty on Principles of Friendly Relations between Vietnam and Russia this year and on the threshold of the 75th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic ties in 2025.
