At the event, Dung spoke highly of the achievements the ambassador has made during his term in Vietnam, stressing that the Vietnamese government and people always appreciate the support of Swedish people in the struggle for national independence as well as the renewal and national construction process.
He underlined that Vietnam always wishes to cooperate with Sweden in all fields for the mutual benefits of both countries.
In response, Ambassador Bergman expressed his pleasure at the fine results of cooperation between the two countries, especially in environment, judicial research, and technology and science. He said he believed that more and more cooperation programmes will contribute to the friendship relations between the two governments and people./.
