Quang Ninh strengthens security, traffic order control for SEA Games 31

Authorities of the northern province of Quang Ninh have taken a wide range of measures to ensure security, order and traffic safety in a bid to successfully host sport events of the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) in May.

Quang Ninh (VNA) – Authorities of the northern province of Quang Ninh have taken a widerange of measures to ensure security, order and traffic safety in a bid to successfully host sport events of the 31st SoutheastAsian Games (SEA Games 31) in May.

The local police will mobilise maximum resources and vehicles topatrol, control and strictly handle violations of traffic order and safety; andeffectively use monitoring systems in handling violations, especially in the localities wheresport events will be organised such as Ha Long, Uong Bi and Cam Pha cities.

Quang Ninh police are coordinating with relevant units to inspect accommodation facilities forathletes, and competition venues in the locality.

Attention has beenalso paid to communication activities to raise awareness of traffic safety amongst local residents./.

Ministry of Home Affairs to apply KPIs in public employee evaluation

The Ministry of Home Affairs will accelerate reforms under the theme “breakthrough momentum,” focusing on institutional improvement and resource mobilization. Public order crime drops 22.55% in first half

In the field of economic crime, 2,096 cases involving 4,194 suspects were prosecuted in the first half. For corruption and position-related crimes, 370 cases and 1,042 suspects were brought to trial. Meanwhile, police uncovered 11,687 drug-related cases involving 22,863 individuals.

The programme prioritises 286 remote border communes, wards and special areas, where coordination between local youth units is seen as crucial. Volunteers are deployed across three main functions: supporting officials with administrative procedures, helping people and businesses submit online applications and payments, and offering digital training through creative models such as mobile tech clinics and grassroots tech groups.
