Quang Ninh (VNA) – The northwestern province of Quang Ninh is striving to reach the goal of having 20,000 enterprises in 2024.
According to the provincial People’s Committee, the province has taken practical and timely measures to support enterprises, including organising regular meetings with enterprises in order to help them solve obstacles and difficulties.
Besides, Quang Ninh has created favourable conditions for sectors such as cement, electronic, garment and textile, and cooking oil to boost production and expand their markets, both at home and abroad.
So far this year, the province has had 510 newly registered enterprises, reaching 18% of the year’s plan. Total registered capital neared 5 trillion VND (195 million USD), up 124.3% over the same period in 2023. Notably, 277 enterprises have resumed operation, up 9.9% over the same period in 2023.
So far, the province has 16,981 registered enterprises with capital reaching nearly 346 trillion VND and 590 cooperatives operating with tax declaration.
Also in the first quarter, Quang Ninh had 55 newly established cooperatives, 110% of the year plan, mainly in the fields of agriculture, forestry, and fishery.
Quang Ninh has received great appreciation from the business community and investors in the work of accompanying and supporting businesses. Therefore, the province has always remained on top of administrative reform rankings such as the provincial competitiveness index (PCI), the Public Administrative Reform (PAR) Index, and the Satisfaction Index of Public Administration Services (SIPAS)./.
