Hanoi (VNA) - The railway sector willoperate dozens more trains to serve growing travel demand during the Hung KingsFestival, which will fall on April 13-15.

Under the plan, the Hanoi Railway TransportJoint-stock Company will run eight extra trains on the Hanoi–Ho Chi Minh Cityroute with a total of about 5,200 more seats.

The company will have two more trains from thecapital city of Hanoi to Vinh city in central Nghe An province and one moretrain from Hanoi to Dong Hoi city in central Quang Binh province on April 12.

One extra train from Hanoi to central Thanh Hoaprovince will be arranged on the next day. On April 15, there will be oneadditional train from Dong Hoi city to Hanoi, two from Vinh to Hanoi and onefrom Thanh Hoa city to Hanoi.

The company will maintain its usual 12 trainsper day along the routes of Hanoi–Lao Cai, Hanoi–Hai Phong, Hanoi–Dong Dang, Hanoi–QuanTrieu and Yen Vien–Ha Long. All of the trains have the maximum number ofcarriages, equal to about 10,000 seats.

In the meantime, the Sai Gon Railway TransportJoint-stock Company will have eight extra trains along the HCM City–Nha Trangroute during the festival.-VNA
