Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,252 VND/USD on October 28, down 3 VND from the last working day of the previous week.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,465 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,039 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates continued decreasing.
At 8:31am, Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,194 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,464 VND/USD, down 33 VND and 3 VND, respectively, from October 25./.
