Reference exchange rate continues downward trend

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily referenceexchange rate at 23,104 VND per USD on June 10, down 3 VND from the previousday.

With the currenttrading band of  +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial bankduring the day is 23,797 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,410 VND/USD.

The rateslisted at commercial banks were stable.

At 8:45 am,Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 22,830 VND/USD and the selling rate at23,060 VND/USD, unchanged from June 9.

The rateslisted by BIDV were also kept unchanged from the previous day at 22,860 VND/USD(buying) and 23,060 VND/USD (selling)./.
